Haunted Cemeteries of Ohio by E.R. CutrightMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
As the title suggests, this is a book about the haunted cemeteries of Ohio that I appropriately got from the author at the Loveland Frogman Festival (so you can see the type of reader I am). I think that most of the history in this is relatively correct (at least the parts I've looked up).
As a paranormal investigator and taphophile this is more like a travel guide to me than anything. I hadn't heard of some of these cemeteries even ones not that far from me like Woodlawn in Ironton which made me travel down there. (How was I to pass up a place that holds some of Edward Gorey's ashes?)
I'm also a history buff and that's what you get with this, the history (as best as it can be teased out in some cases) along with the paranormal reports. The writing was good, engaging, not dry as some history text can be. I'm hanging onto this one because I have more traveling to do.
