When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi

Usually I like Scalzi's stuff but this one didn't hit for me. It's a fun concept. You have the moon turning to cheese even the moon rocks here on earth. You can imagine the chaos this would cause. You can imagine the dark humor...and I think maybe for me that was what was missing. It was a lot of chaos though with way more characters than I wanted to follow including an astronaut losing her dream of a moon walk and one who is basically Elon Musk (and you definitely want to slap this character to the moon)

It just seemed slow and I never invested much but again this is a your mileage may vary sort of thing. A lot of reviewers loved it so go make your own choice. Like I said Scalzi's stuff is usually top notch. It could easily be a case of me not the book.
